Photo Gallery and Chart Viewer Help!
To view the photo gallery you need Java enabled on your browser. The Photos and Chart Viewer pages both require a recent version
of the Java Runtime Environment (I use version 1.4.1).
Photos Page
If you just see the message "Reading Image Directory... Please Wait" (and maybe a map) then it is probable that you have an earlier
version of the Java runtime. When working correctly you should see either the photos or a message stating
there are no photos available yet. In either case, the link to this help page should disappear when the applet
has loaded and initialised.
Chart Viewer
If after a few moments you just see the chart viewer buttons and a large blank grey box then it is probable that you have an earlier
version of the java runtime. When working correct;y you should see a message in the grey box
informing you of the status of the track, route or map download. The map files are large (1.3Mb) so it will take time to download
depending on your connection speed. Once loaded you should see a chart of the east Caribbean and the link to this help page will
be replaced by a key.
To download and install the latest version of the java runtime click here (requires a restart).
(To install the Java runtime you need administrator rights to your PC)
